Image:  Angelina Jolie has a straight body figure to show she is a strong confident female.

Title: Vanity Fair, Vanity means pride in one's appearance, qualities, abilities, achievements and Angelina Jolie is voted one of the most beautiful actresses in the world and she is the most paid actress in Hollywood so she is a wealthy strong beautiful model.

Fonts: The font is big bold and classy it suits the model on the magazine and the sell lines are the same font as the title but smaller size and that attracts the audience to look at the title first.

Colours: The title is baby pink the sell lines are white and the model is wearing a black dress
So we straight away know it is a women’s magazine because women mostly use baby pink.

Content / sell lines: The sell lines are “top 50” “sex”, these attract the reader because the reader wants to know what the best is in fashion and sex in a magazine with Angelina Jolie might suggest celebrity gossip.

Top banner: “Dennis Hoppers last interview”, the top banner suggests that “Dennis Hopper” is going never going to do another interview and it might be end of his career this makes the reader feel sad or happy depending on their view of Dennis Hopper.

Advert Coursework

Denotation/Connotation:

1. The model is standing in a sexy pose to try and entice the audience therefore making them more likely to buy it, it also makes the audience have a glimpse hope of being with a model because of that perfume.

2. Their facial expression shows that the model is iressistable because the man is smelling her and is closing his eyes almost dreaming to be with her.

3. The location of the advert is infront of a green screen because if theres a nice background the attention might drift off but a simple plain background means the models stand out and 100% of the attention is on the audience.

4. The sotryline is people will be attracted to you and all attention will be on you if you wear this perfume, its almost saying you will be irresistable

5. There are no costumes, only naked bodies, Goffmans theory is when female parts of the body such as legs chest are used rather than the whole body. This is often applied to sell products which are not related to the product in anyway.

6. There are no props in this advert because they are using goffmans theory about female parts and that means they dont need any props.

7. The Background colour is black and dark and then the models are oiled up and have a lot of make up on which is reflecting light and making them shine to stand out and attract all attention to them and nothing else.

8. Gucci Guilty, Gucci is one of the most luxury designer and very high classed which makes the perfume look very good.

9. No Slogan Because All Attention Is  On The People And The Picture Of The Perfume.

10. Cerif white font to stand out from the background and all the attention is on the models.

11. Camera shot is a close up to show the facial expressions and focus all eyes and attention on models.

1. The Product Is Aimed At Women Because It Shows Women In Power Because The Women Is Higher In The Picture And It Says Fragrance For Her.

2. Must Be Female Aged Between 15-35 And Ethnicity Doesn't Matter.

3. Jobs Don't Really Matter If You Look Classy And Nice Then It Would Be Recommended
